The Solitude of Prime Numbers

Prime numbers are divisible only by one and by themselves. They stand in their place in the infinite series of natural numbers, squashed in between two others, like all other numbers, but a step further on than the rest. They are suspicious and solitary, which is why Mattia thought they were wonderful. Sometimes he thought that they had ended up in that sequence by mistake, that they'd been trapped like pearls strung on a  necklace. At other times he suspected that they too would rather have been like all the others, just ordinary numbers, but for some reason they weren't capable of it.

A good reason for a job

I'll be having a job interview next week and I am very happy that an income is within reach.

Not only to pay rent, pay back my floor and such to my parents, and the plaintickets I'll have to buy in the future (not that I am complaining about that, I like travelling, especially for certain reasons, like visiting one person in perticular),

but also to buy pretty things.

I love pretty things and my heart just skipped a beat when I stumbled upon this beauty. I found it on a online museum webshop (I already sold my soul to this website, gotta love it)

but this is something that will be on my wall. Without any doubt. 

I also found another framed moth, and skulls and bat- skeletons and I am also planning on purchasing antlers.

That is the great risk of me moving out: my hoarding will get a boost because there is more space to stuff.

All in all I've got very good reason to make a fabulous first impression upcoming Thursday!

Yes, going to start cleaning the room today, and going to start painting the walls on Sunday.

I am excited, I really look forward to it and  can't wait to furnish my room with my ridiculously old-fashioned furniture. Oh, and if anyone knows where I can find copper-coloured radiator-paint; you are obliged to report this to me. I would love to paint all the tubes and the radiator in my room, so it matches my lamp. And because I like steampunk.

That moment when you are trying to tell one of your fellow psychology students that nice anecdote about some other psychology students mixing up empathy with apathy. Only to find out that you again have to explain the meaning of empathy, and apathy.
